The Dutch in these info panels in Kanal, the new museum in Brussels in the former Citroën garage on Sainctelette square, have been corrected by a visitor. The dutch texts are grammatically well done. But ‘second hand car’ would be ‘tweedehands auto’, and from the missing space and the d that is lacking suggest that spelling correction has probably not been done by a dutch speaker. ‘Tropical house’ would be ‘tropisch huis’. The ‘sch’ construction is downgraded to an anglicist ‘sh’ 🙂 . It looks like the Kanal editing team is offering a promising fresh new playground for Brusseleir guerilla language correctionists !
